I haven't (yet) read Woolf's The Years. I did read and reread others of
hers and posted some
circumstantial possible "connections' w Pynchon or Kute Korrespondences at
least but a friend
who is reading The Years sent out the 'great balloons' line, which comes
from the Cambridge Introduction
as you can see...
"A series of great balloons"......or great balloon trips, of course, ala
ATD........"Historical snapshots", fer sure.......
Looks like I have to move The Years up, up and closer in the reading
timeline of my exhaling life....
