Thanks for posting this. I love medieval Persian and Afghan Miniatures. I have a few books, and particularly like the work of Bezhad. The scans are wonderfully high res. Better than most prints.  Some of the lines of this kind of work were painted using a brush with a single hair.
Highly recommend My Name is Red By Orhan Pamuk, an historical novel of intrigue set among medieval miniaturists.
