I’ve just finished reading Brookland, by Emily Barton. This is the second of her three novels that I’ve read, the other being, The Testament of Yves Gundron. I read that one because of a blurb by our Mr. Pynchon.
 I highly recommend her work. She’s a great storyteller.

Also recently read yet another great novel by Ursula Le Guin, The Telling, as well as a book of collected blogs, No Time To Spare. Both highly recommended.
