Intriguing news. Like Rev’d Cherrycoke, or Salman Rushdie, Camus faced real world limitations on the freedom of his speech, if this is true. I mostly go around thinking writers can say whatever they want but that’s not exactly true. ( like in the 40 year old hippie comic, where he sez “if I was President I’d disband the army” and his friend tells him “no you wouldn’t because the military industrial complex would have you killed,” and he goes, “Oh yeah, I forgot about those guys.” )

So much weird about this: that Trump would know of and request a Van Gogh suggests hidden depths in the person. 

Then, that he would decline the solid gold toilet’s another surprise: seems like a vulgarian daydream that he would take even more pleasure in than pretending to drive that truck on the White House lawn.

Also, gold is 8 times as dense as porcelain, so an 80 pound porcelain stool would be like 640 in gold, a bit less because it’s only 18 karats. 
Had to be somebody seriously burly took it, maybe Pig Bodine for the toiletship.

I've never even heard whispers of this theory before and I don't know how
