For those who are interested, I suggest NOVELS IN THE TIME OF
DEMOCRATIC WRITING by
Armstrong and Tennenhouse is worth it. At least one notion I link to
Pynchon. Self-organization against the State as aspects of some
fictions they explore plays a part.
Then I notice the authors thank two mentors, one of them Khachig
Tololyan who I thought wrote on Pynchon and he has.
