Hello All,

I am very excited to let you all know about the release of this new
recording.

The Ron Brendle Quartet: A Tribute to the Bassists of Jazz.

It features tunes composed by some of our great bass players; Gary Peacock,
Charlie Haden, Ray Brown, Dave Holland, Sam Jones, Charles Mingus, Scott
Lafaro, and Steve Swallow.

The quartet is composed of Ron, on bass, Troy Conn on guitar, John Spurrier
on drums, and me on piano. We recorded it at Old House Studio, with
engineer Chris Garges, in Charlotte this past November.

This band is really happening! Everyone plays great, the tunes are great,
the interplay is high level, and the recording quality is stellar!
I am so pleased with this recording, and to be involved with this wonderful
band.
