Browsing the list I had found this:

On rereading, I found that that's a different Hollander, whose gifts are also missed.

However, this https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/charles-hollander-obituary?pid=184637739 does match the little I know of the Dude's particulars.

His magic eye was very perceptive.
