NP - Austin City Limits: Trombone Shorty

He used to be short, back 20 years ago, age 7 or so, playing with his bros
from the hood in one our many youth-lead street brass bands (I saw him on
the street back then).  Now he's a star, and deserving of that place of
renown. He turned down a full scholarship at Juliard to tour with the
Stones and Lenny Kravitz (my daddy instinct disapproved). He has outgrown
this town as a venue for local gigs, but he's playing tonight's Austin City
Limits.

Mardi Gras season began last night @ 12th Night, and we take that shit
seriously!  Revelries start now. Costumes are being made. King cakes
ubiquitous. Gotta pace yourself, and the Saints are in the playoffs!  Geaux
Saints!!!
