Ach, a roughed-up, gentle “fauve” - I was lucky enough when I was a teenager to see him play several great gigs at Raul’s, Austin’s fabled punk venue.  Hearing Him sing “Cold night for Alligators” and “Two Headed Dog” was kind of like listening to Jim Morrison’s demented half-brother sing the credit music for a lost Roger Corman film.
