Jade in _IV_ and Nancy Pelosi

The reference to Jade in IV as a pearl of late capitalism is worrisome. The black 
shiny FBI shoes worn by Bigfoot et al would easily crush such a gem, 
wouldn't they?

(And although the comparison is no doubt outside the remit of IV, doesn't one worry about 
the effects on the newly minted House majority liable to be inflicted by the footwear of 
the executive and upper house, if they are rolling around as Jade does? Especially with the amplitude of some of the frames surmounting those pods!

(What's the deal with men in general being larger than women? Never gave it much thought, 
as lexical and oratorical capabilities (inter alia) seem to be weighted in the distaff 
(now there's an obs. term, since "spinning" has now leapt to 
"explaining" and is practised pangender) sex's favor, so that women in my 
mental map loom larger than their physical embodiment, but one recently happened across some biology factoid concerning species that practice monogamy: the size difference between the sexes tends to be less than those that do not, because unbridled competition 
for mates selects for size (inter even more disturbing alia, such as fierceness and heartlessness and compulsion to broadcast seed remorselessly, mindlessly,  heartlessly,and boast about it) 

So stay married and faithful, and do your part to keep gigantism - and, for lack of a better term, Donaldism (or Georgie-Porgy-ism) - from afflicting human males!?)

My relatively uninformed dubiety centers around the odds for that pearl versus the hard soles (and souls) of the somewhat diminished but still puissant Forces of Reaction - what could happen?

They could trip over the pearl and fall on their butts ("Ach! Mein Arsch!")
Or they could smoosh it,
Or they could see its value and put it in a proper setting - a resolution devoutly to be wished. 

(Oh, for a General Pudding to thoroughly unfold for us the things that could happen in politics, although his diet would need to change and include some smart drugs so he could write fast enough to outpace current events!)


However, it's likely that our Speaker and her back bench - long may they prosper and 
thrive - are wise beyond my ken, and will yet find a way to make this situation into a gain. Reason is on their side, and the hopes of many. God speed you, Nancy Pelosi, pearl of the lower chamber!
