JR? GR?

You have named my favourite two American novelists, and also novels. They
are as different as night and day, and yet both shed significant light on
the previous century. All this new attention on Gaddis and the recent
re-issue of *The Recognitions* and *JR* has made me to decide that as soon
as I'm finished WIlliam Gibson's *The Peripheral*, I'm going to re-read
both Gaddis's novels that you mentioned, and *A Frolic of His Own* as well.
