Oh, but we already have, in a way.

Voyager One is already out of our Solar System, having entered the wilds of
interstellar space... and it was launched barely half a human life ago! And
chances are, NOTHING is ever going to stop it, or its sister system, from
going on and on and on, perhaps one day leaving our galaxy, and moving
beyond.

I can foresee other ways of surviving beyond the death of this planet
eventually popping up, too. And if not, so be it.
