I sorta second, having speedread it--he's witty and without pretension---
but I was/am too pretentious
to really like it (since I haven't seen many "B' movies since I always
strived for "A's "

*Salvage the Bones* is as powerful as almost drowning.

*Alias Grace* is real fine but might be harder to follow.

And *The Things I Carried *is becoming a canonical work about war, the
Vietnam War.
