“Mumbo Jumbo” has been on my must-read list for a racoon’s lifespan.  My copy arrived this morning and I am walking up the gangway on this perhaps ill-fated pleasure cruise.

in this
fiction seemingly conceived from form and structure even before page 13
where MUMBO
JUMBO gets writ large as if the novel begins
there....

SO LET's read from page 3 to 13 and say what we see and think.
