I don’t know about the specifics of the documents he published, but it’s
clear that US prosecution of ANY intelligence leak has always been
extremely draconian, always been extremely disproportionately harsh.  That
seems true no matter who is President at the time.  So I think Assange is
probably a real slime ball, but he will likely be badly abused by the US
justice system.  That would have been true even if he were as pure as a
newborn baby.
