I'm not involved in this, Herr Eckhardt. I am under no obligation to fraternize, or not fraternize, with anyone on this list because of any flame war they're involved in with other list members. Hell, as I've said, I even take a perverse enjoyment out of the rivalries. It's better than network TV, at least.

And: I have NO DESIRE WHATSOEVER to discuss Russiagate or Bellingcat. I haven't said a peep about these subjects, because I can recognize a flaming bag of poo on my doorstep when I see one. 

So what's this—guilt-by-association now? I've never even talked to you; but I'm supposed to what, wring my hands, clutch my pearls because Morris called you names? (Damn, I'm starting to sound like Maxine here. Too much BE.) Look, if Morris were to vent his anger at me, I'd have something to say to him, and I would do so publicly. But come on, this is an internet chat group about a writer we all like—that's all. It's not worth getting bent out of shape about, given the year we've all had. (Going on two years soon...) 

So yeah. Sorry Thomas, it wasn't my turn to be hall monitor.
