Ok how about this? Russiagate was a huge waste of time and money directing the US public away from the real case against a dangerous despotic president engaged in blatant nepotism, bribery( emoluments violations) ,tax violations, lying to the public, cruel and unusual punishment of asylum seekers, abuse of the constitution and collusion in the rape of the planet. Russiagate's largest effect was to demonstrate that the democratic party, as led by one of the most hated and talentless politiicians in my lifetime, was willing to pay blatant liars who are currently being prosecuted as the entire shit show disintegrates into the embarrassing and obvious fact that America’s problems are not in Russia but right here. The idependendent lead investigator and one time hero and champion of the russiagaters found no collusion; not that he found no possibility of criminally indictable offense, but no colluson with Putin or other Russians.
I personally feel I don’t have to engage with people who call others assholes or other pathetic ad hominem non-arguments. Throw them emails in the trash and say whatever you want. Or just focus on the Pynchon material.
Here on the american mainstream home front a man in the tornado zone found a photo of an elderly lady with a name on it. He put a photo of the picture online and it was someone's grandmother from 130 miles away and they got in touch with him, and because the mail is down and he was so happy to do some small kindness he is going to deliver it to them. This is so typical of so many americans and the kind of people that are all around us. I don’t think our issues are an expression of human nature but some obvious imbalance in power that has us headed the wrong way. So much heartbreak, whole towns flattened. What do we do? What do I do?
