I wonder what TRP thought of her California books, which I suggest he had
to have read because.....California....
Has anyone ever found an allusion to anything she wrote in his work? ..I've
never read her* Democracy (*a novel obviously alluding to Pynchon
fave Henry Adams) but it would
also have been right up TRP's interest alley...anyone, anyone?.....

One of the few novels my -ex read was *Play It As It Lays*. It didn't make
her happy.
