Now that I've (finally?) seen it, I can write this
I found it to be a waste of a perfectly good setup. It could have gone in
so many directions, but, yeah, the alcoholism and closeted-cowboys themes,
not to mention the whole wrap-up, were unfortunately handled with the
subtlety of ten out-of-sync jackhammers.
Bummer. I remember loving The Piano to pieces the time I saw it
