Thus the code for life's meaning, no matter how deep it goes- even into the bowels of that ship, or, the basement of that mansion- has a built in redundancy- extra meaning- not put directly to use. Per information theory, this is known as a "degenerate" code, although profane might be a more suitable term. It's the way life uses the second law to cheat the surrounding, patiently waiting...
