Shambala, ATD,

Apparently the interest of the great powers and Germany in particular as regards Tibet and Shambala goes back before WW1 
and continues into WW2. How serious the beliefs or pusuits of hidden cites was is hard to say. The article includes ideas about a hollow earth; ideas  from such as 
Edmund Halley. Some of you may be familiar with the info but it was new and intriguing for me.  I am reading ATD for the 3rd or 4th time. Seems fresher each time, 
though some of the comic digressions lose their impact. I actually started a little over a third of the way through, was looking for a particual part and couldn’t stop reading. 
But I also do this sometimes on a re-read and it lets you experience the middle part with an open, energized mind.
