One of the phones that the Watergate burglar-ratfuckers tapped
belonged to a guy named Spencer Oliver, the executive director
of the Association of State Democratic Chairmen.

Turns out he was quite the ladies man as he spent a lot of his time on the
phone
arranging trysts all around the country he visited for the Dems. AND, his
phone,
off by itself in the back of where they worked was where most of the
secretaries
and other volunteer women went to talk to their boyfriends in some privacy.
So, Magruder and
Strachan and Mitchell got regular earfulls--it was all transcribed-- from
one who talked a lot of 'what they were going to do
together' verbal sexual foreplay, so to speak, all of this leading Mitchell
to call in
Liddy for a chewing out about the uselessness of this tap with Liddy
apologizing that the other tap
could not be heard and promising to fix it all.
