That meme has actually kinda come back in vogue with the vaxxers. Strange times.

Occultism and Christian apocalypticism do seem to swing back and forth
in parallel waves - new age and satanic panic in the 70s / 80s, wicca
and WWJD (+ Left Behind) in the 90s... Q?

The Shirley Temple is the original kiddie cocktail, so there's some
hints of nostalgia or arrested development when she's self-medicating
with a spiked version. Interesting character beat. Doesn't sound good
to me but let us know.
