children. Beyond petty emotions; beyond good and evil in (part of)
Nietzsche's sense.  Another strand of
what some might call feminism in Pynchon, as with Oedipa and the loving
threesome in AtD.
And of course,. of course, the whole damn meaning of V in Western history.
