not exactly a one on one match but there are elements of Ice's life that
sorta line up with ex COO and major fraudster, Jan Marsalek, on the run
after the implosion of German fintech firm, Wirecard, once the princeling
of the DAX, BanFin and government. The FT has run major investigations if
interested.
Beyond the financial corruption is Marsalek's ties to the intelligence
communities in Austria, Russia and other places, mentions of mercenaries in
Africa, threats to journalists, etc..
He is believed to be somewhere in Eastern Europe, maybe Belarus. But the
lapses on so many levels w/r/t to Wirecard from regulators, accounting
firms, government aid, etc. just highlights the vast and unseen influence
folks like Marsalek and presumably Gabriel Ice have sub rosa
