A hilarious answer to Allen's Q about where to watch the movie. Basically, almost nowhere in the US, LOL.

Part of the humor of Sam Harpoon, ( I find the humor and style easily imaginable as Pynchon adopting a persona)  is the backward assault on the prevalence of shitty movies, which are Sam Harpoon’s  forte along with unclear film related name dropping, and the source of his own comico tragic history as a vexed director. His grievance with lost opportunities in the film world allows him to make sharp and funny comments on what does come out of hollywood.  No matter who is writing I find it entertaing and a rather brilliant use of the medium, which can be tiringly unfunny.
   Anyway, not much surprise that a good movie is making no waves.
