NP: Literally a narcissistic post

Ah, yes—I don’t want to sound callous, I know about Allan. He’s a swell guy, and has been real nice to me since I returned. (Unlike Doug, who keeps IGNORING ME!) But weirdly, the difference in spelling didn’t even register. It’s strange—and I wonder if Allan can attest?—I consider all other spellings—Allan, Alan, Allyn, etc.—as utterly different names. Like, I have a friend named Alan, and we can both ACTUALLY TELL when someone is addressing the correct one. Very strange. I wonder of Seans and Shawns feel the same way?
