Joe Tracy passed this week. He was the lead plaintiff in Tracy v.
Yellowcab, a 1996 case that found SF taxi drivers to be employees for
purposes of workers comp and unemployment insurance. He was a kind man who
stood up for the dignity of his fellow workers. May he Rest In Peace.
