Dune and psychedelic desert messiahs

Given Lynch feels so profoundly burnt by Dune, it doesn't seem likely.
Perhaps the closest would be a film *about* that film a la the Jodorowsky
doco. It'd be neat if there was a whole sub-genre of films about films
about Dune.
