Fwd: Yom Kippur.

A Jewish friend of mine whom I have never met, was introduced to online, as
we've talked and
argued for over a decade now, sends me (and others) every year a
genuine email asking for my forgiveness
for whatever way he has offended me. And he sums up much of his life's
concerns and problems.

I haven't done much ex-Catholic penance lately and I think it is time I
went Jewish. But I'll spare you the summing-up.

Anyway, my friend writes "I ask that you forgive me for any disquiet, any
hurt, and any harm that I may have caused you."
So, since I interact so much with this group, I ask the same of all of you.

I am taking the day off for self-criticism and the other elements and I
hope I get that right.
