Against the Day.... again

We all sorta know this bare conclusion
and we know FJ Turner's Frontier Thesis is
alluded to in AtD, but I just found this quote, written
within a few years of the Chicago World's Fair
and evidently incorporated in his paper/monograph.

"A century and a half after my family had arrived, Chicago
was once again as Frederick Jackson Turner had described it:
the place where "all the forces of the nation intersect".
