I did not remember, assuming I once half-knew, that
it was at Cornell where the archives of the original
of LW's *Private Notebooks 1914-1916* were, with the
*personal *entries blacked out---by directions of
Eliz Anscombe, one of the philosophers deeded rights
over all of LW's unpublished stuff.....

So, I will bet you my first editions that TRP saw and read them
there---aware of the redactions---and maybe, maybe, later? got
the unredacted German publication??.....

I did remember that LW died 'at Cornell' so to speak, as I first read of
his death. 1951. We
know when TRP entered.


PS: JUST WAIT. I am going to make a case. A case for you. Not the world
is all that is the case, which case has been made.
