I bought a light bulb at the grocery store today. The guy working the
register proceeded to tell me that he heard that there was this really,
really old light bulb still working in a California fire house. I said I
had also heard that and that an author had written a story where he used
that lightbulb as a character and named him Byron.
It was a 100% unexpected discussion that brightened my day.
