Maxine with exceptional emotional intelligence learns that
Lester is stealing money from Ice, the exact amount that Ice is diverting
from somewhere;
Lester promises to pay it back....with vigerish....and Maxine says she will
speak to Ice and
she hopes Ice will "only want it in US dollars".

Then the videocassette shows a porn scene.......great joke about *Jules &
Jim..*."talk about double-entry bookkeeping"
hilarious and a money metaphor....

and we learn there was no "money shot" in the porn scene except there was:
 a money shot of an AMEX Centurian card,
which means you need to spend 250 grand a year or they take it away from
you....

Money, money, money that the NYC start-up world thought and acted only
about money.....in fact cuming was all about money,
P back to Sex, Money and the Word with new tropes....and a telling and
hilarious melding of the first two--and unexplained intrusions
into a very secular reality for the third. Maybe.

In this world women's fantasies are so weak and literal......the
imaginative world is dead....

The buddhist parable of the Burning Coal...."he lets go of it and he
