Igor is bigshot - had ZIL shipped over in parts & reassembled - wouldn’t
half ass this
She may have saved him and his friends 10 or 100 times that much
Also this would have bolstered his prestige - priceless
Also - he may be feeling his way toward a long term
relationship with Maxine like he already has with March and Sid, and how
better to start than with an impressive payday?
