The wit. The constant wit. Wit on speed, at least NYC speed ---in a NY
minute--of dialoguing.
Back at a vast late capitalism shopping basin and the smell of it all
again.

Pringle Chip Equation, the band...and "strangely contoured in their
purity".....contoured, Pringles,
who else would do this so smoothly? .....

Heidi getting attention from Conkling in this novel's NYC sexual
attraction--and competition---atmosphere.

The novel is so ungloomy in most of its quotidianness which is as mannered
as beautiful hell.
