As pedestrian and pointless as was Joe’s geopolitical analysis of the
entire current and eternal Ukrainian/Russian, US authoritarian, NATO
boundaries, Eurasian, Afghanistan, Syrian, Iraqi, Libyan, Putin’s speeches
situation . . .
. . . Until Joe added all that idiocy to the mix (you can always count on
Joe to add piles of irrelevant crap to anything being discussed) . . .
. . . THE question on the table was *the* *relevancy* of Hübschräuber bringing
up **out of nowhere** the fact that “*a **march of Banderites on New Year's
Day*” happened in the Ukraine LAST YEAR,   and that WE,   the
fascist-loving US,   refused to condemn it.  And I pointed out that *Nobody
gave a fuck about it!!!*

Somehow, out of the blue, Hubschrauber raised this WTF fact!!!

And I responded that *nobody gave a fuck*, and (more to the point) that
here was *Hubs-shite* AGAIN calling out Ukrainians as fascists AGAIN while
defending Putin AGAIN as he invades them AGAIN!  And nobody was even
talking about this (at least not a Bandera March last year) until he,
* Hubs-shite*, AGAIN jumps in to defend the indefensible.

THAT was the point of the discussion.

That *Hubs-shite* has got a weird fucking PROBLEM!

I have no sympathy for the Kaczyński twins but still find Ukrainian
Neo-Nazis far more interesting. After a march of Banderites on New Year's
Day, torchlights and all, the Israelian embassy twittered (translated by
DeepL):

"Israel condemns the nationalist march in honor of Bandera. The
glorification of those who supported Nazi ideology desecrates the memory of
Holocaust victims in Ukraine. We demand that the anti-Semitic
manifestations that took place during the march be investigated according
to the law adopted in 2021."

Small chance, as the US and Ukraine were once again the only states that
voted against the adoption of a draft resolution condemning the
glorification of Nazism in the UN General Assembly:

"The Assembly next took up the report on 'Elimination of racism, racial
discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance', containing two draft
resolutions.

By a recorded vote of 130 in favour to 2 against (Ukraine, United States),
with 49 abstentions, the Assembly then adopted draft resolution I,
'Combating glorification of Nazism, neo‑Nazism and other practices that
contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination,
xenophobia and related intolerance'.

By its terms, the Assembly expressed deep concern about the glorification
of the Nazi movement, neo‑Nazism and former members of the Waffen SS
organization, including by erecting monuments and memorials, holding public
demonstrations in the name of the glorification of the Nazi past, the Nazi
movement and neo‑Nazism, and declaring or attempting to declare such
members and those who fought against the anti‑Hitler coalition,
collaborated with the Nazi movement and committed war crimes and crimes
against humanity 'participants in national liberation movements'."
