I know that Russia is evil, evil, evil, and that Putin is the latest
reincarnation of Adolf Hitler.
Still, it appears to me that not only the Russians might have a reason
(in their case, 24 to 40 million reasons, according to Wikipedia) to
oppose the glorification of Nazism and the Waffen-SS.
You don't agree? You think the glorification of Nazism and the Waffen-SS
is quite alright and must not be sanctioned in any form because, if the
Russians are against the Waffen-SS, it must have been a force for good
in the world?
Ok. I am awfully sorry to have once again argued against the apparent
consensus on the Pynchon-list about Nazism. After all, we know that
Thomas Pynchon was a huge fan of the SS. He even modelled one of his
protagonists after Hans Kammler.
Carry on.
