Archive 81 (Netflix)

Binged it over long weekend. Lots to like for sure. both male and female
leads, actors who I havent seen before, are very good. the story such as it
is, encapsulates so many great horror tropes: Lovecraft and what not, but
brings to mind some more obscure resonances like Ira Levin's novel/filmThe
Sentinel and Theodore Roszak's novel Flicker. some minor quibbles, but
better than average Netflix fare in my mind
