And they have normal citizen rights. Maybe not in Putin’s warlord-ruled
proxy entities, but don’t blame Ukraine for that. Just a few weeks ago I
had the pleasure to meet a guy from Donetsk who spent several years in the
notorious “Izolatsiya” prison in Donetsk, subjected to both physical and
psychological torture every single day until he got out on exchange. His
“crime” had been writing essays and giving interviews to western media on
the situation in his home town using a pseudonym.

No, and there isn’t anything remotely similar in Ukraine (just in case this
were about to come next).

Unfortunately , agression toward the Russian border in Ukraine was Nato’s
Goal since 2008,

We’re not talking bout Nato here. It’s Ukraine, an independent state that
has the right to choose whatever friends it wants. Russia may not like it,
but that’s their problem.

Is Ukraine really threatened by Russia, has Russia attacked other former
soviet states?

Oh, that’s a question? OK, it is “only” a war that’s been going on for 7
years, not a threat. Haha.

Cheers,
