Gravity's resonances??

It is not supposed to be a quotation from anything but Kafka's diaries, as
indicated...

But I added the nose job reference after first just wanting to allude to
gravity as my subject line sez. My bad in
not adding to that subject line, much less not ibidizing....

Just another example from me of overseeing--projecting--Pynchon in some
unlikely places..
I, being me, could not help but think of Esther's nose job, because of K
writing "cavity' and
"with which one can take no liberties" unlike the doctor with Esther.
........
"It is the idea of the body, the abstraction behind the reality: what
Esther really was, shown to the senses with certain imperfections there in
the bone and tissue. Schoenmaker could bring out the true, perfect Esther
which dwelled inside the imperfect one. Her soul would be there on the
outside, radiant, unutterably beautiful."

Not a particle of me believes P was influenced by these diary entries and
we have no overt indication he even read them, although we think we know of
some Kafka allusions and influence in his fiction. Just sayin"......

Sorry for wasting anyone's time, esp yours Dr. Krafft, and for being
lazily confusing.
Just wanted to post something not uninteresting in itself, instead of
skipping another day of being boringly absent.
