Their message, over and over again, is that everything that Putin is doing
right now is the fault of the US.  That’s because they reason that the US
mismanaged our responsibilities as the World’s only remaining post Cold-War
Superpower.  Our mismanagement spawned the inevitability of Putin.  That’s
the looking back view.  The looking forward view is, I think, essentially
appeasement.

I’m sure they think everything would have been fine right now if Trump had
gotten a 2nd term.
