Really brief…

Maxine gets a package in the mail, this time a DVD

Reg’s work, obviously, & it’s of some dudes atop a building fussing and
futzing with a Stinger missile
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIM-92_Stinger

And another dude apparently training a rifle on them

Maxine takes it to March

Maxine thinks the location is the top of the Deseret so they go there

Instead of whatever weirdness was on the DVD, they find themselves
embroiled in a confrontation between tenants and people trying to install a
microwave antenna array for cell service.

They join in, March enthusiastic, Maxine reluctant

March brings up Igor & want to show him the video - she overrides Maxine’s
wariness by telling her an anecdote about how Igor put piranhas in the
slumlord Kriechman from the demonstration where Maxine first met March ‘s
pool - and how much more well behaved Kriechman has been since.

“So I’ve come to think of Igor as a benevolent mobster for whom real estate
is only a sideline.”

Thus, they “take a meeting” in the ZiL limo with Igor, who feels nostalgic
about the Stinger, having faced them in battle, and later sold leftover
Stingers back to the CIA.

While he doesn’t enlighten them much, he does have more denials about the
Traipse murder knife: not a Spetsnaz hit.

Oh, and Igor knows Reg, from the latter’s time videotaping Russian babies
for an adoption agency.
