At any rate, a “Levine type” is starting to take shape amongst such other
archetypes as Beetle Bailey or Hawkeye Pierce.

WWLD - what would Levine do?

Dump his ashes & butts on the floor, wisecrack, and arrive late,
apparently.

The erection discernible here is scaffolding for Benny Profane, a-and even
Slothrop, although each of those guys, besides of course being much more
detailed, while not being candidates for most-likely-to-succeed, is
somewhat more simpatico, imho.
