SLPAD - 84ish: Could this be a misprint?

- not a misprint, all editions have “blinded”

“this” refers back not to “blinded” but to “this time they’re having
together”

Blinded in contrast to “curiously aware”

I guess “blinded to many things, but aware that they’re not linking up with
any depth”


Still, I think it’s an odd choice of word to use here.

(Blended wouldn’t be any better, though, would it?)
