The poster below says it all, except:

You do not have to have read the novel, or failed at reading it (as I did
twice) to come enjoy the party.
The party will be about the whole surround of the book, with as much as I
know about the writing of the book and about reclusive Tom.

You do not have to WANT to read it either nor therefore buy the novel. (I
have told Kendra that). This party may be Just Right for you as Goldilocks
is always saying.
Much better than a naked book review--learn of the streaker!; much to learn
and talk about anywhere readers gather. You will have 'insider' knowledge.
Thomas Pynchon himself will have learned of this party. (We have ways to
reach the recluse, as long as we expect no answer)

I have been very lightly published on Pynchon and have been part of an
international Pynchon Listserve for 16 years---where did the time go? also
a GR theme, of course since the novel contains EVERYTHING. ...

And as those who know, know, bananas abide.

Now, Ev'ryBody....

The question of this GR month is: Where did you get your copy of *Gravity's
Rainbow*? A---And, where did you read it?

Please send to ANYONE who might be interested.

Mark
