Maybe it is not so crazy to defend culturally Russian people  and his own country from a person who has sent hundreds of thousands of his people to die pointlessly and has made himself  a dictator who outlaws political and media opposition along with the largest branch of the orthodox christian church, who has lucratively made himself  a murderous tool of the US empire, an empire built on a long history of invasions, wars and theft. Maybe it is self defense and the defense of Russians who were being viciously murdered by the government of Ukraine. The Donbass is now both culturally and politically Russian, as is Crimea. If the US/Nato continues Ukraine will lose Odessa too. Time for the west to accept it and make peace. Time to stop this march toward nuclear war, a thing now openly advocated by US generals and neocon powerbrokers.
