SLPAD 3 - mistakes

I think what he is telling us in "The Small Rain" remarks is, unlike with
that story, the story has to come first...
all the literary references second.......which he surely, surely went on to
do in GR and all the others after Lot 49,
which may have started w "literary" and did not have a major character
qutie interesting enough in her own right.
(Just saying and I LOVE THIS NOVELLA, no matter when TRP says. The
constant, every reading, open-ended
richness of it as it applies to America....reminds me of Yeats' great *Second
Coming* poem, perfectly richly true since the Irish rebellion
thru the Trump Presidency and the Putin invasion. Imo.
