Vineland?

Hi Melanie
I used to live in Arcata, went to Humboldt State. Still one of my favorite places, from Los Bagels to the Coop to Luffenholtz beach and the best town park anywhere. Vineland was also my first Pynchon novel and I suspect the one he had the most fun with.  A friend gave it to me when he heard I lived fr 8 years in Humboldt County. It would definitely make a good movie, though one wonders how to cut something like that down to size. Maybe a TV series. Anyway, welcome, and best wishes to a fellow Humboldt County lover.
