Things have not improved very much from the time of Rios Montt and the semi-fictional Nick Windust. Montt’s daughter is running for president. Popular indigenous contender, Thelma Cabrera, has been excluded from running , and she, along with her running mate, a human rights prosecutor, has fled the country.
